Officials in the Clinton Raceway race office have announced that a new number has been set up for horsepeople to text in driver changes, and for the race office to send out texts advising if horses are needed to fill a particular class.

To sign up, simply text your name and cell phone number to 519-671-5270. All messages, if received during office hours, will be acknowledged; if sent after office hours, a reply will be received the following morning.

There is no charge for the service.
