On Thursday night, Meadowlands Television will turn over hosting duties to Darin Zoccali and John Massey, a pair of young bettors who will talk about what attracts

them to harness racing and share their perspective on reaching a younger generation of fans on the pre-card broadcast. In addition, Zoccali and Massey will team up for various pick segments during the card and host the half-hour Racing From The Meadowlands recap at midnight on SNY.

Zoccali, 25, hails from Staten Island, New York and has been coming to the track with his father since his early teens. A graduate of St. Johns University with a degree in legal studies, Zoccali is already an established race caller announcing at both Tioga Downs and Ocean Downs on a regular basis. He's involved as a standardbred owner with his father, Sandy, in several partnerships and has been a regular fill-in on Meadowlands TV for both harness and thoroughbred broadcasts over the past couple of years.

Massey, 22, is a resident of Jackson, New Jersey and is currently working on his Ph. D in Early Modern European History at the The City University of New York. Massey first began coming to the track with friends while attending St. Peter's College in Jersey City. He was a finalist in Grand River Raceway's Amateur Announcer contest last year and also served on a panel discussing the racing fan of the future for the Hambletonian Society last summer.

Also on the Thursday night pre-card show, Bob "Hollywood" Heyden will interview driver Richie Silverman who will attempt a return to driving at the Meadowlands on regular basis after relocating to Florida a few years ago.
