Work Cut Out For P H Supercam
It appears as though the post position gods have gazed at P H Supercam and decided to mock him.
P H Supercam is the defending George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series champion. He has won all of his preliminary Levy legs this year, and has stamped himself as harness racing’s newest millionaire in the process.
If P H Supercam is going to defend his title and sweep the 2015 Levy series, he sure is going to have to earn it.
Yonkers officials announced on Tuesday that P H Supercam has drawn Post 8 for the $529,000 Levy final, which will be contested this Saturday night (April 25) over the half-mile oval. The series – which is a tribute to the hall of fame founder of Roosevelt Raceway – is the sport’s richest race of the season to date.
The 28th edition of the free-for-all event has been carded as Race 8 on Yonkers’ 12-dash Saturday program. The first race of the evening will get underway at 7:10 p.m., while the Levy final will head to the starting gate at approximately 9:50 p.m.
