Four Wins In Seven Lifetime Starts
Most participants in the horse racing industry would be thrilled if their filly recorded wins in four of her first seven career races.
PCs Vixen followed live cover and used it effectively to capture Friday’s $17,500 second leg of the Do Me Honor Pace for three-year-old fillies at the Meadows.
The second leg was contested in a single division, with all eight participants eligible for the championship, which will be raced on Friday, April 24. First post that day is 6:55 p.m.
PCs Vixen had endured a nightmarish trip in the opening leg, when she was parked the entire mile and was intermittently rough gaited. But on Friday in the second leg, she moved confidently from fifth down the backside for driver Eric Goodell before picking up the cover of Somewhere Fameous.
The daughter of Art-Official-R Burning Desire had plenty left in the lane and hit the wire first in a career-best 1:55.2. Opening-leg winner One Over Par was second, a neck back, while Dobre Povedane rallied for show.

Aaron Merriman and Dave Palone each piloted three winners on the 12-race card.
