Trot Insider has learned that horseman Harold Goit, 79, passed away at his home in Simcoe, Ont. on Friday, April 3.

Harold is the loving father to Bonnie Goit and Bruce Goit. Dear brother of Arnold (Wilma) and Murray (Lorraine) Goit. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller Funeral Chapel, which can be contacted by calling 905-765-2712.
