Running Aces Stall Apps Available
Running Aces Harness Park's stall applications for the 2015 season are now available online.
Applications must be received by the April 17 deadline and the allocation of stalls will be posted on May 1.
The 2015 season runs from June 6 through September 12 with a total of 53 live programs on the calendar. For most of the meet, races will be held Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with a 7:00 p.m. (CST) post time and Saturday and Sunday nights with a 6:00 p.m. start time.
With only 240 stalls available, Running Aces seeks reputable trainers with sound, qualified horses capable of racing on a weekly basis. In some classes, horses often get three starts in every two week period. Because of the limited stall situation, unqualified horses and two-year-olds are encouraged to prepare elsewhere until qualified and race ready.
Condition sheets for the first week of the 2015 meet will be available on both the USTA and Running Aces websites by March 31.
The barn area will open for approved stables on Wednesday morning, May 27 and a qualifying races session has been slated for Saturday, May 30 at noon.
Minnesota Harness Racing Inc. (MHRI) is planning to conduct an additional qualifying session on May 23 at the Cannon Falls fairgrounds to help Midwest trainers from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and the Dakotas get ready for the opening of Running Aces eighth season.
The stall application is available on the track's website. Interested trainers may contact Director of Racing Gregg Keidel via email at [email protected].
