More Horse Tails Cut Off

In early February, multiple reports out of Colorado shed light on cases of cold-hearted thieves stealing the hair off the tails of Belgian horses. Now, according to reports out of Michigan, the unthinkable act is continuing

.

"Fortunately, they didn't cut off the skin part of the tail but went right up to it, so they knew what they were doing," Jennifer Chambers, a resident of Putnum Township in Michigan, was quoted as saying in an article by Detroit News.

Chambers says that she believes thieves snuck into a barn on their farm one night earlier this week and made off with the tails. "Fortunately, they didn't cut off the skin part of the tail but went right up to it, so they knew what they were doing," she said.
