Report: Kentucky Possibly Rid Of CEM
According to an article on kentucky.com, the state of Kentucky may be rid of the sexually-transmitted equine disease contagious equine metritis (CEM).
The article states that the last of five horses in the state that had been diagnosed with the disease has been cleared and released from quarantine.
According to the report, state veterinarian Dr. Robert C. Stout said today that Kentucky has successfully addressed the outbreak.
