Committee Passes Racing Promotion Bill
It has been reported that a Senate committee in Indiana this week voted 10-0 to pass a bill that is designed for the state horse racing commission to use monies from the breed development fund for the promotion of the sport.
News of the vote comes courtesy of a report by The Shelbyville News, which explains that Bill 252 passed the state’s Senate Public Policy Committee on Wednesday (January 28).
Additionally, the report explains that the owners of two of the state’s racetracks support the bill.
