Cambridge, Stan The Man Added To Sale

A total of four currently-active racehorses, including trotters Cambridge and Stan The Man, have been added to the Sunshine Select Sale, which will take place online via ongait.com on what has now been dubbed ‘Sunshine Sunday’ for the auction site.

The auction will finalize on Sunday, January 25.

The four horses that have been added are trotters Cambridge, Stan The Man and Scary Magic, along with pacer Call Me Muddy.

Cambridge, a Cantab Hall four-year-old, was a handy first-over winner of his last start at Yonkers Raceway in 1:57.3. Prior to his Yonkers score, Cambridge had reeled off a total of six victories at Harrah’s Philadelphia with his trainer, Greg Peck, driving.

Another member of the Cantab Hall-Enjoy Lavec golden cross responsible for Father Patrick, Pastor Steven and Uncle Peter, is eligible to the upcoming Gural Maturity series for four-year-olds as well as the General Brock at Woodbine.

Stan The Man, a Credit Winner brother to Father Patrick, is steady, fast, durable and equally adept on different-sized tracks. He trotted in 1:54.4 and finished seventh in his last start at the Meadowlands Racetrack with trainer Peck in the sulky.

Scary Magic, a Kadabra four-year-old from a select sale maternal line, won two races at Mohawk Racetrack last year. He has earned over $61,000 in purses on the track thus far in his career.

Call Me Muddy, by Cams Card Shark, will be in action at the Meadowlands this Saturday (January 24). In his last race, at Yonkers, he suffered interference. Last November at the Meadowlands (November 29), the colt finished ahead of the famed white pacer, White Bliss.

Pedigrees, videos, and race lines of Cambridge, Stan The Man, Scary Magic and Call Me Muddy can be viewed on ongait.com or sunshineselectsale.com.
