Rideau Carleton Raceway and the National Capital Region Harness Horse Association are pleased to announce three two-year-old series for 2009

.

The three series are the Majestic Son Trotting Series (for two-year-old trotters), the Frisky Fillies Pacing Series (for two-year-old filly pacers) and the Boys of Summer Pacing Series (for two-year-old colts and geldings).

Each series will have four legs with each leg having a purse of $7,500, which will lead to a $25,000 (added) final for each series. The nomination fee is $50 for each series and must be paid no later than Monday, June 1, 2009. Listed below are the dates for each series.

The Majestic Son Trotting Series
(for two-year-old trotters in 2009)
• 1st leg - July 10, 2009
• 2nd leg - July 17, 2009
• 3rd leg - July 24, 2009
• 4th leg - July 31, 2009
• Final - August 9, 2009 (purse $25,000 added)

The Frisky Fillies Pacing Series
(for two-year-old fillies in 2009)
• 1st leg - July 13, 2009
• 2nd leg - July 20, 2009
• 3rd leg - July 27, 2009
• 4th leg - August 3, 2009
• Final - August 9, 2009 (purse - $25,000 added)

The Boys of Summer Pacing Series
(for two-year-old colts & geldings)
• 1st leg - July 12, 2009
• 2nd leg - July 19, 2009
• 3rd leg - July 26, 2009
• 4th leg - August 2, 2009
• Final - August 9, 2009 (purse - $25,000 added)

Please note that faxed nominations will not be accepted and payment must accompany each nomination.
