It has been reported that Maryland Jockey Club President and CEO Tom Chuckas has resigned.

An article by sanluisobispo.com does not give the reason for Chuckas’ resignation, but it does note that he guided the organization through some turbulent times during his six-year tenure.

The report states that the MJC is working with Chuckas to figure out a strategy to transition his duties.
