Shannon’s Rainbow To Be Released June 5th

Shannon's Rainbow is set to be released in theatres June 5th in the USA and Canada

. With the zealous support of the National Humane Association and the ASPCA, a Media Campaign will include a national contest.

Shannon's Rainbow, a heartfelt film about a girl named Shannon (Julianne Michelle) who loses her father in a tragic accident and discovers her mother (Claire Forlani) whom she thought died during childbirth is really alive. She struggles to cope and is resistant, resentful, and depressed. Through the love and care of a horse she names Rainbow, and their blossoming friendship, Shannon begins to trust again. The process of healing this sick horse in return helps Shannon to heal, and she discovers that we never actually lose the people we love.

The film stars Julianne Michelle as Shannon, Claire Forlani, Eric Roberts, Stephen Colletti, Jason Gedrick, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Steve Guttenberg, Charles Durning, Krista Allen, Willie Garson, and Carson Brown. Produced by Joycelyn Engle. Directed by Frank E. Johnson. Executive Producers: Stewart Rahr and Joseph Di Palma.
