Awards Doled Out In Manitoba
On Saturday, November 8, the Manitoba Great Western Harness Racing Circuit held its 2014 awards banquet at the Riverview Golf and Country Club in Morris.
Morris was a new town added to this year’s Manitoba Great Western schedule.
Circuit officials would like to congratulate all of the award nominees and winners, including horsemen of the year and top trainer Richard Rey, caretaker of the year Lorraine Rey, as well as owner of the year Trevor Williams.
There was a tie in this year’s Ron Waples category, as Jacques Lambert and Marc Fillion share the honours for the hard work and dedication they provide to the industry.
Paula Mason trainee Somethinsgoin on captured MHHI's claimer of the year for the 2014 season, while Caress Of Steel took home horse of the year honours.
