Uncle Peter To Stand Stud
World champion trotter Uncle Peter will begin his stallion career in 2015.
Ohio's Hickory Lane Farm is pleased to announce that it is adding Uncle Peter (Cantab Hall - Victory Treasure) 2, 1:54.2, 3, 1:52.3f, 4, 1:50.3f ($1,294,413), to its stallion roster in 2015, joining another world champion trotter in Dejarmbro.
At age two, Uncle Peter took his mark of 1:54.2 at The Red Mile, and won the elimination and final of the Breeders Crown at Woodbine Racetrack.
At three, he won the Stanley Dancer Memorial, an elimination of the Hambletonian, a Pennsylvania Sire Stakes and the Pennsylvania All Stars, among other races. At four, he established a world record for four-year-olds on a five-eighths mile track of 1:50.3f while banking in excess of $500,000 while racing against the top trotters in North America.
Born and raised in Ohio at Winterwood farm, Uncle Peter will stand for an introductory service fee of $6,000. Uncle Peter is syndicated and shares are still available for purchase.
