Commission Rules On MacArthur Appeal
On Thursday, September 11, the Ontario Racing Commission released a Notice of Decision in regard to an appeal by horseman Lyle MacArthur.
The ORC panel which heard the appeal varied the penalty by staying the remaining 15 days of the 60 days imposed, citing "that there was an interaction between two permitted therapeutic substances which would appear to have been a causal factor" in a TCO2 positive.
