Fraser Overflowing With Stock
Fraser Downs director Jackson Wittup has commented to The Vancouver Province about the influx of horses
the Surrey, BC track has witnessed due to the recent pilgrimage from Alberta.
"It is a tough squeeze, but we encourage their arrivals," Wittup was quoted as saying in the piece. "If there is any downside at all, it would be trying to find stalls to accommodate them."
The report states that 50 temporary stalls have been erected to help house stock. Horsemen Keith Clark, Jeff Stone, Rod Hennessy and Rene Goulet have all recently brought stock to the west coast.
