Truro Raceway will be hosting an innovative claiming series during its upcoming Atlantic Grand Circuit week.

The Budweiser Endurance Claiming Series gets underway on Sunday, July 13 with its first leg followed by the second leg on Sunday, July 20. These legs will have races with a purse of $1,200 and will be contested at a distance of 1-1/4 miles (or 2.5 laps). A $5,000E final will be raced on Saturday, July 26 at a distance of 1-1/2 miles.

Horses entered in the series will race for a claiming tag of $2,500 (with allowances).

A $100 nomination fee is due at time of declaration, with 16 entries required to card the races. The top eight (8) money earners make the final, and horse must race in both legs to be eligible for the final.
