David Miller's European driving debut has been put on the shelf for the time being.

As a result of an accident on Wednesday at Harrah's Philadelphia, Miller made the decision not to fly to Denmark for a drive aboard Uncle Peter in Sunday's Copenhagen Cup.

Miller was struck from behind in a pre-race accident on Wednesday at Harrah's Philly. He finished off the card while not feeling 100 percent. On Friday afternoon, Miller told Trot Insider that he felt sick after some training this morning, prompting the last-minute change in plans. He plans to drive Uncle Peter in the Elitlopp later this month.

The newest member of the 11,000 win club, David Miller will be inducted into U.S. harness racing's Hall of Fame this summer.

Trainer Jimmy Takter has secured his brother Johnny to drive Uncle Peter in Sunday's race. The field for the Copenhagen Cup is as follows:

1 – Uncle Peter – Johnny Takter
2 – Kashs Cantab – Erik Adielsson
3 – Mr Picolit – Jorma Kontio
4 – Orali – Jeppe Juel
5 – Solvato – Veijo Heiskanen
6 – Beckman – Franck Nivard
7 – Mosaique Face – Lutfi Kolgjini
8 – Harry Haythrow – Peter Untersteiner
