FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP AND THE COMMUNITY HORSE

SyndicaitonSM.jpg

Is our industry still resonating with new and prospective owners? Is entrance into ownership too difficult or too expensive for the newcomer? There have been some successful forays into small syndicates in North American harness racing, but what about huge syndicates like ones in Norway, Sweden, and New Zealand? Imagine if a newbie could enter standardbred horse ownership with thousands of others for a $50 bill? Heck, for that price, they might even pick up a second share for their parents as a Christmas present!
