Dough Dough Doubles In Weiss Series
Dough Dough and Clementine Dream each controlled matters on the front end as heavy favourites to win races in the Bobby Weiss Series at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs on Wednesday night.
There were two Weiss divisions held for three and four-year-old fillies and mares on the trot, each carrying a purse of $15,000.
En Mar Stable's homebred Dough Dough (CR Excalibur-Rising Dough), trained by Gail Wrubel and driven by Mike Simons, won his second straight Weiss race, this one coming in 1:55.4.
Clementine Dream (Infinitif-Catch Fortuna), with Scott Zeron driving for trainer Mark Harder, won his split in 1:55.3. She is owned by Racing Team Of America and Quebec's Brian Paquet.
