Wyndym Farm Standardbred Retirement announced to Trot Insider this morning that 15-year-old King Conch gelding Carscot Harmony (6,1:55.4s - $630,667) passed away on Sunday
, February 8, 2009.
Carscot Harmony, a bay out of the Worthy Bowl mare Lou Macs Review, made 201 career starts, compiling a record of 28-28-28 and $630,667 in purses. He took his mark of 1:55.4 over Woodbine Racetrack at age six.
The bay was trained his entire career by Paul Walker. Carscot Harmony was retired at Wyndym Farm Standardbred Retirement via OSAS.
"Wyndym Farm Standardbred Retirement is sad to announce that Carscot Harmony passed away Sunday afternoon due to a sudden complication from a colic he was being treated for," the release stated.
"This son of King Conch (who also died at the same age of colic) whose demand for respect was tempered by a youthful sweetness will be missed. He has been buried facing one of his favourite areas on the farm."
Please join Standardbred Canada in offering condolences to the connections of Carscot Harmony.
