A couple Down Under are singing the praises of Standardbreds after having recently adopted a pair of retired pacers.

A report by Narooma News states that the two Standardbreds have been renamed ‘Big Red’ and ‘Buddy’ and are fitting in with the family famously.

The article explains that Sophia Moody and Phil May’s daughters have been loving their time with the horses, whom were easily broken to saddle and for riding.

The report states that daughters, aged seven and four, are loving riding the horses.

“It’s been so rewarding, saving their lives and has been great to give the girls a confidence boost with animals,” said Moody.
