Denise Ouellette Passes
Standardbred Canada member Denise Ouellette, mother of Luc and sister of several other top drivers, including Michel and Gilles Lachance, has passed away at age 74 after a long illness.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. at Les Residences Funeraires Goyer in her hometown of St. Augustin, Que., with a prayer reading at 8 p.m.
Denise is survived by husband Rolland Ouellette, children Luc and Lyne, grandchildren Maude, Luky and Isabelle, and many relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Maison Sercan of St. Eustache, Que., which provides services for cancer patients and their families.
