My sincere condolences to Linda and her family.
I can't begin to say how much Alf has helped me in the business.
He taught me the game, how to buy, how to sell. He picked me up broke down late at night with truck and trailer more then once. He even picked me up when I was just plain broke, opening his wallet without hesitation.
He was always there when I needed him and I did'nt have to ask twice. That was special!!!
Alf best day as a trainer had to be June29/06. He raced at Mohawk for the very first time. He decided to put in a mare that was racing well in Sarnia to give her a shot down town. Since he was going with one we decided to put another one in to fill the trailer. Well Alf go on to win both races. The ride home was clound nine all the way.

Alf we had a good run....
