American Ideal’s 2014 Fee Set
Brittany Stallion Management announced this morning that the book for World Champion pacing sire American Ideal is now open for breeding, with his stud fee set for 2014.
American Ideal's fee for 2014 will be $10,000, up from $7,500 in 2013. He stands at Blue Chip Farms in New York.
In making the announcement, Brittany manager Art Zubrod noted that the stallion is enjoying one of his best years at the sales, while his offspring continue to add to his long list of credits on the racetrack.
“American Ideal came away from the gate as a sire with two-year-old champions, and year after year he continues to add to his siring accomplishments,” Zubrod said.
“With his two year old Hes Watching setting a world mark and going undefeated this year, and the big bump in his yearling average in Lexington, he’s certainly established himself as an elite sire,” he continued.
American Ideal is the sire of four millionaires in American Jewel, Heston Blue Chip, Idyllic and Romantic Moment, and 2013 stakes standouts that include Adios and Tattersalls Pace winner Sunfire Blue Chip p,3,1:48.3f ($607,299) and undefeated New York Sire Stakes Champion and World Champion Hes Watching p,2,1:50f ($291,722).
He led all pacing sires at the recent Lexington Selected Sale in percentage of yearling average increase from 2012 to 2013, with his yearling average up 35 percent over last year. Those were led by his filly MTV Blue Chip, who sold for $145,000.
Information and a booking application for American Ideal and all the Brittany stallions are available on the Brittany Stallion Management website.
