Napolitano Wins Five At Philly
Driver George Napolitano Jr. reeled off five wins during the first half of Friday afternoon's harness racing card at Harrah's Philadelphia, including a victory in one of the co-featured pacing events with Ontario-bred Uncle Goodfellow.
Napolitano won the $30,000 Winners Over Pace with Kevin Carr trainee Uncle Goodfellow ($9), who rallied home off cover to prevail in 1:50.3 by one and a half lengths over favourite Blatantly Good.
The victory was part of a four-race win streak between races four and seven for Napolitano. He also won with Musical Prince ($6.80), Arthur ($9.20) and Cams Oracle ($4.80). Napolitano's first victory came in the second race aboard Scott Rocks ($2.60).
The other Winners Over co-feature went to Jimmy Takter trainee Great Vintage ($9.60) and driver Ron Pierce over Dynamic Youth in 1:49.2.
