Quinn Trainee Seeks Thursday Win

Greatheart Hanover will look to put away six rivals in the Thursday night feature at Red Shores’ Charlottetown Driving Park.

First-race post time for the 13-dash card is 7:00 p.m.

Greatheart Hanover has drawn Post 2 for Race 12, which offers a $2,000 purse. Jason Hughes is scheduled to be at the lines of the Governor’s Plate finalist that is trained by Stephen Quinn for owner Foxyhall Racing of Wallace, NS.

Artners In Crime will start from, Post 1 with driver Ron Matheson. The gelding is coming in off a second-place finish in last Thursday’s feature where he paced in 1:56.3. Other entries are Toad River (to be driven by Ken Murphy), Sterling Seelster (Marc Campbell), Nobestbfor (Walter Cheverie), Pownal Bay Mustang (Kenny Arsenault), and Machinthesand (Brodie MacPhee).

The evening’s top trotting class will line up for Race 5. Sandhill Angel is favoured early and will start from Post 6 with Arsenault in the bike for owner-trainer Glenn Claybourne of Charlottetown. Other top entries include Scarlet Patti (Campbell) from Post 7 and Tymal Tyme (Brian MacPhee) from Post 8.
