Dean Nixon trains the six-year-old daughter of Grinfromeartoear-Royas Bambi for owner Leo Racicot of Harrow, Ontario. It was the sixth win of the campaign – and the 26th to date – for the career winner in excess of $360,000.
Misty Moonstone was just as quick in the $5,000 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 for the tandem of driver Scott Coulter and trainer Peter Core. The six-year-old daughter of Astreos-Access Hollywood also used ‘catch me if you can’ tactics to produce her victory.
