Harrington Open To Mojo Terror
Dandee Racing Stable and Lightning 5 Racing Stable’s Mojo Terror notched his sixth win of the year Monday with a 1:52.2 win in the featured $19,000 Open at Harrington Raceway.
Mojo Terror, a five-year-old son of Western Terror, had won four-in-a-row to start the August season at Harrington before a two-race mini dry spell that ended Monday. Trained by Doug Lewis, Mojo Terror held off all comers with a front-end score for driver Eric Carlson. They held pocket-sitter and runner-up Rock On Moe at bay and a game first -over Eagle All, who finished third. Mojo Terror paid $6.00.
It was one of three winners on the card for Carlson.
On the undercard, two Harrington overnight horses extended extensive winning streaks.
Raritan Bay ($4, Bret Brittingham) won his seventh consecutive race for Liz and Bret Brittingham, while Josh Davis-Parker and Barry Spedden’s Something Blue ($3, Jon Roberts) won his eighth consecutive race.
