Easter Egg Hunt found the winner’s circle at Dover Downs on Tuesday when she used a two-hole ride to deliver in the $27,000 Mares Open Pace, while driver Tim Tetrick recorded his first win of the season.

Tim Tetrick picked right up where he left off last Dec. 7 at Dover when he won five races and in his return to his home track following a hip replacement procedure, he notched four wins in six races.

In the feature race, Easter Egg Hunt used the passing lane to score a 1:54.3 victory. With the high quality distaffs coming on like a wave at the top of the stretch, Tom Jackson rolled down the "Dover Highway" to reach the finish line first.

Race favourite Pacific Philly and Eddie Davis Jr. had to go four-wide on the turn and made up a world-of-ground after straightening out, but still missed by a half-length at the wire. Tim Tetrick steered Chloes Silver star to a third-place finish.

The $23,000 Mares Jr. Open Pace was as easy as 1-2-3. Blissful Maddie found the wire with Tetrick at the controls in 1:54.1. Firiel Hanover and Jim Morand finished second and Mike Cole-driven Cruizin Foralivin N was third.

Tetrick took Blissful Maddie into the lead heading for the clubhouse turn before Eddie Davis Jr. charged up with Badlands Iron Lady to challenge the Josh Green-trainee from the backstretch to the top of the lane. Blissful Maddie, however, edged away with Firiel Hanover firing down the stretch to finish second.

The win was Tetrick's fourth, trainer Green and owner Larry Baron, who shares ownership with Meadowbranch Stable, posted two wins.

Tetrick made it back to the winner's circle in a $15,000 Mares Pace, guiding Bridezilla to a 1:55.3 score for Tom Kemp and Jim King, one of three training winners for King.
