All Turain earned his third consecutive Invitational victory on a stakes-packed Saturday afternoon at Northside Downs as he captured the $7,500 J.A. Ferguson Memorial Pace in a 1:54.2 track record equalling performance.

The 1:54.2 mile matched the all-age track record established by Major Dundee on July 6, 2013. The winning time also equalled All Turain's lifetime mark that he took in last weekend's Johnny Conroy Memorial at Truro Raceway.

With Brodie MacPhee in the sulky, All Turain advanced from fourth to first past the half-mile mark and kept Junebugs Baby at bay to win by one and a half lengths. Early leader Touch Of Lightning finished third.

Trevor Hicken trains and co-owns the four-year-old Tell All gelding with Lee Hicken of Charlottetown. All Turain now sports 12 wins on his 57-race record along with 10 seconds and 12 thirds.

Northside Downs hosted Atlantic Sires Stakes for two-year-old pacers, which also produced new track records in both the filly and colt divisions.

Trained and driven by Myles Heffernan, Dumas Walker dominated the second set of 'A' pacing colts with a 1:57.1 track-record setting romp. He won by four lengths over Mr Comraderie and Settlement Request.

The former record for two-year-old pacing colts and geldings was 1:58.4, set by Untouchable One on Sept. 22, 2012.

The son of Western Success is now six-for-eight in his career with three of those wins coming in ATSS action. Heffernan also shares ownership of the speedy gelding with Joseph Poirier of Reserve Mines, N.S.

Divisional leader Tobins Fushion scored his fourth ATSS win in an earlier $7,120 'A' division for trainer/driver Gilles Barrieau. He went wire-to-wire in 1:59.4 and held off Island Gigolo by half a length. Just A Professor finished three lengths behind in third.

The son of Western Paradise, who is eight-for-10 in his career, is owned by Boyd Macdonald Prodce Ltd. of Crapaud, P.E.I., Daniel Ross of Belfast, P.E.I., and Charles Seymour of Fredericton, N.B.

In the final 'A' colt division, a rough-gaited Pictonian Storm recovered from multiple miscues during the mile to wear down the pacesetting Rancousy for the two and a half length victory in 1:59.1. Arties Magic finished eight lengths back in third.

Mike Stevenson drove the Western Paradise colt for trainer Wade Sorrie and owner Ross. The win was his second in ATSS action and third this year from eight outings.

The $2,500 'B' division for colts went to first-time ATSS winner Come On Gigolo and driver Gerald Snow in 2:02.4.

Saulsbrook Alana set a new track record for two-year-old pacing fillies when she went wire-to-wire in her $9,420 'A' division in 1:57.1. Driven by Barrieau, the Western Paradise filly won by two lengths over Elm Grove Inarush and Sail Through.

Saulsbrook Alana shaved two full seconds off the divisional track record that Carol Alice set on Sept. 22, 2012.

Kevin MacLean trains the streaking filly, who notched her fourth win in a row. She now boasts five wins in total from eight starts, including three ATSS victories. Saulsbrook Alana is owned by Reginald MacPherson of Stratford, P.E.I.

Briannas Angel converted a pocket trip into a 2:00 triumph in the other filly split with Mark Bradley in the bike for trainer Travis Wilkie. J J Mistress finished one and a half lengths behind in second and Acton Royal Force finished third.

Wilkie bred the Aahm Canadian Now filly and shares ownership with Robyn Veinot of Vernon Bridge, P.E.I. The win was her first against the 'A' fillies and third in eight seasonal starts.
