Henry & Moreau Dominate At GRR
Winning races is something Trevor Henry and Richard Moreau have mastered the art of, and they put on quite a demonstration during Monday’s 12-race card at Grand River Raceway.
Henry reigned in six winners, with three of them coming from the high percentage stable of trainer Moreau.
The talented duo clicked with My Friend Kenny (1:58.1), Perfect Vacation (1:59.2) in Race 8 and Ablaze Hanover (1:57.1) in Race 12. Henry added wins with Panedictine (1:57.4) in Race 5, Fashion Fun (2:01.1) in Race 10 and Santas Special (1:56.4) in Race 11 to complete his six-pack of trips to victory lane.
Henry, who leads the nation when it comes to winning races this season, pushed his yearly total to 320 while his lifetime total is just 82 wins shy of 5,000. The career winner in excess of $31 million has stashed away more than $1.5 million in purse earnings this year.
Moreau, the nation’s leader when it comes to wins and earnings in 2013, is four wins away from racking up 200 victories on the season and his purse haul stands in excess of $2.8 million in 2013. The career winner of 4,183 races has harnessed winners that have banked over $34 million.
