Fraser Downs has cancelled Friday's program of racing due to unsafe track conditions.

"The track is still very soft, especially in the first turn where the horses assemble to start," said Chuck Keeling, General Manager of Fraser Downs. "I walked the track myself, to ensure I saw it first hand. Regrettably, I agree that it was the right decision not to race tonight out of the interest of everyone's safety. This is clearly unprecedented at this racetrack."

A decision will be made at 9 a.m. (PST) on Saturday morning to determine if racing can be conducted for the scheduled card that afternoon.
