Ella Tutt Passes

The Saskatchewan Standardbred Horsemen's Association has announced that Ella Tutt, a key part of the provincial harness racing scene and Canadian Trotting Association
Saskatchewan representative for many years, recently passed away at the age of 97

.

Ella and her husband, J. Kendall Tutt, raced standardbreds in Saskatchewan and Manitoba during their farming years. Their horse Dale Riggs became their star, racing undefeated for several seasons.

Ella served as secretary for the Saskatchewan Colt Futurity and later became the Saskatchewan representative member for the CTA. Ella was predeceased by Jack on April 12, 1990.

A Funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Parkview Funeral Home in Moose Jaw.
