Henry Back On Top At Clinton
Canada's leading driver Trevor Henry dominated Sunday's harness racing card at Clinton Raceway to put himself back in the running for another track title
Clinton's 2012 top driver Henry was victorious in six of the afternoon's 10 races to take back the lead in the 2013 standings over Billy Davis Jr. (16-12). Having won 247 races so far this year, Henry also holds an 11-win lead in the national driver standings over Davis Jr.
Henry scored back-to-back wins in the fourth and fifth races on Sunday with the repeating Come On Man ($3.40) for trainer George McClure and Frequent Flyer ($4.10) for Don Beatson before closing out the card with four wins in a row. The Arthur, Ont. horseman completed his six-bagger driving veteran pacer Pacific Oak for Ken Oliver, repeat winner Kennairn Crystal for McClure, Bob McIntosh's debuting freshman filly All Charged Up ($10.20) and the double-gaited mare Wish N Win ($4) for Jim Watt.
