Larry Bird Passes
Trot Insider has learned that horseman Larry Bird has passed away at the age of 68.
Larry Bird worked as a groom for Nelson White in the 1970s. He looked after Armbro Nadir and travelled the circuit through Western Canada and down to Hollywood Park with Armbro Nadir, who was affectionately known as 'Ralph.'
Larry is the brother of Barry Bird of Harwood, Ont.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Harwood Hall on Thursday, July 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
