Standardrama A Huge Success

Organizers with Standardrama have said that this year's edition of the event was a big success.

The event took place at the Orono Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 23.

"This year we had 43 entries, which well exceeded last year's, and in one class there was more horses than we had at the entire show the first year," Tammi Hughes explained.

"If this show is any indication of what the series will be, then this will be the biggest year ever," she added. "The horses and riders are getting more competitive and stronger-skilled. [There was a lot of] media contacting us interested to know more about the series and to help promote our breed."

The organizers also said that the silent auction was great and the vendors that took part were great as well.

Hughes and Karen Tremblay would like to thank everyone that participated, donated, volunteered or came to watch.

Organizers are urging spectators to come out and support the future shows.
