Action Broadway Reaches Million Mark
Trotting mare Action Broadway closed out Friday night's harness racing card at The Meadows with a victory, which pushed her over the million-dollar earnings mark.
Sitting just $27 shy of the career milestone mark entering Friday's card, Action Broadway's victory in the $13,500 conditioned trot lifted her bankroll to $1,006,723.
Trained by Virgil Morgan Jr. for Ohio owner-breeder Kenneth Sommer, the six-year-old Broadway Hall-Photo With Molly mare picked up live cover from fifth before rallying three-wide into the stretch and kicking home in :28.4 to notch her 29th career triumph in 1:55.1.
