First Leg Of 2013 WDC Set
Post positions and drivers are now set for the opening card of the 2013 World Driving Championship, kicking off this Sunday in France.
Trevor Henry, of Arthur, Ont., will start on his quest to defend Canada's title in the 2013 WDC. Henry will look to become the fifth Canadian driver to capture the international driving event, with a prize of $25,000 going to the winner.
Five dashes are set for L'hippodrome de Reims. Points for the Championship shall be awarded in each heat according to the final minutes signed by the stewards, according to the table on the right.
In the event of a horse being scratched, or where there is no horse available, six (6) points shall be awarded to the driver concerned. If a horse is disqualified and placed back in the final, or if a horse fails to complete the course, the driver shall receive one (1) point.
