CMR Maybe Loaded Returns To Winner's Circle

Last year's North American win leader, CMR Maybe Loaded, made her first trip to victory lane this season in Sunday's 12th race finale at Rideau Carleton Raceway to complete a training triple for Jamie Copley.

Making her 10th start of her 10-year-old campaign, the Fully Loaded mare went gate-to-wire in 1:58.4 as the heavy 1-2 favourite with Stephane Gendron in the sulky. Gemini Seelster and Gord Brown finished one and a half length behind while Montreal Beauty and Darrell Coville finished three lengths back in third.

CMR Maybe Loaded, who earned 24 of her 59 career wins as a nine-year-old, is owned by Jacob and Ryan Copley and the Copley Stables.

Ontario-sired mare Tracys Song is currently the winningest standardbred this season, having scored 17 consecutive victories at Monticello Raceway in New York.

Copley, Rideau's season-leading trainer, also earned victories with pacer Salute ($6.70) and trotter Credit Balance ($4.60) during the Sunday card.
