Robert 'Bob' Craswell Passes

Longtime horse owner C. Robert 'Bob' Craswell of Charlottetown, P.E.I. passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the age of 81.

Craswell was the owner of numerous standardbreds, most notably three-time Gold Cup and Saucer finalist Stetson Any Size and standout pacing fillies Island Ribbon and Island Paragon

Remembered by Judy Arbing. Dear father of Blair (Beth) and Vicki Baumhour (Lou). Loving grandfather of Andy and Susan Craswell, Bobbi and Steven Baumhour. Great-grandfather of A.J. and Drew Ferguson and Braylin Baumhour. Brother of Marie Sanderson (John). Brother-in-law of Verna Craswell and Norma Coles (Keith, deceased). Predeceased by his wife Doris (Tremere); by his daughter Sherry; by his parents Claude and Ada (Horne) Craswell; and by his sisters and brother, Norma Wyand (Lowell), Margaret Whitmore (Bill), Heath Craswell and Lois Holroyd (John).

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 10 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
