TSM Photo Bugger Wins Preferred Trot
TSM Photo Bugger, locked in a quarter-mile duel with Big And Little, finally inched away in deep stretch to capture Wednesday’s $20,000 Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows.
TSM Photo Bugger sat comfortably in third down the backside stalking Big And Little, who was stung in a :27.3 opening quarter. When Mike Wilder tipped TSM Photo Bugger off the cones first over, it set the stage for the protracted battle that didn’t end until TSM Photo Bugger put away his game rival and scored in 1:54.4. The rallying Rembrandt Spur was second, a neck back, while Big And Little saved show.
Jan Fread trains TSM Photo Bugger, a six-year-old son of SJs Photo-Rewarding Wink who extended his career bankroll to $310,743, for owner/breeder Ted Tomson.
Wilder enjoyed a driving triple while Dave Palone drove four winners on the 12-race card.
