The Quebec Jockey Club`s teletheatre network now extends to the Eastern Townships.

The QJC`s seventh teletheatre opens today at noon in Sherbrooke.

The establishment in the Le Baron hotel complex at 3200 King St. W. is owned by Jean Dion, who operated it previously as a Hippo-Club during the Hippodrome de Montreal era.

Sherbrooke joins Laval, Quebec City, Boucherville, Pointe Claire and Montreal (Place Dupuis, Pointe-aux-Trembles) as part of the QJC network affiliated with Hippodrome 3R in Trois-Rivieres.
