Hoosier Park Closed For Monday Training
Hoosier Park Racing & Casino will close the track for training on Monday, March 25 due to the incoming, inclement weather projected for the central Indiana region.
The track will re-open for training on March 26, pending the current weather conditions.
On Wednesday, March 27, Hoosier Park will host their annual night-time dress rehearsal program starting at 5:30 p.m. The evening of qualifiers will allow horsemen, racing officials, and racing fans to watch qualifiers under the lights prior to the opening night program. Qualifiers will continue to follow a Wednesday and Saturday schedule throughout the remainder of the meet with an estimated start time of 10 a.m. Horsemen are advised that the condition sheets for the opening week of live racing are posted on Hoosier Park’s website.
Hoosier Park Racing & Casino’s standardbred racing meet begins Tuesday, April 2 and will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 9. The 20th season of live standardbred racing will offer 160 days of action. Following a Tuesday through Saturday schedule, the daily post time is 5:30 p.m. The $200,000 Dan Patch Invitational Pace, Hoosier Park’s signature standardbred event, will take place on Saturday, May 25.
