Lower Stud Fee For Winning Mister
The introductory stud fee for millionaire trotter and FFA sensation Winning Mister 2,1:56.1; 3,1:54.3; 1:51.3 ($1,108,874), who stands in Pennsylvania at Lindwood Farm, has been reset for the 2013 season.
Winning Mister is now available for the reduced fee of $4,500, or $4,000 for multiple mares. In making the announcement, stallion owner Bob Key said both the current economy and the competition in the Keystone State played a role in the change.
“As with any new stallion, you have to give him every opportunity to succeed at the very beginning, and a large first book of mares and a large first crop on the racetrack is a necessity,” Key said.
“We think the new stud fee offers tremendous value to those breeding in Pennsylvania, as he now comes in well below the majority of stallions with similar credentials here. With Winning Mister we truly believe the sky’s the limit, and now he’ll have the chance to prove it.”
Winning Mister entered stud as a track record-setter at all three Pennsylvania racetracks -- The Meadows, Harrah’s Chester, and Pocono -- and also at Dover Downs, Vernon and Georgian. The two and three year old stakes winner and 24-time open/FFA winner is the fastest son of Angus Hall and a half-brother to World Champion filly Win Missy B 2,1:53.3; 3,1:52 ($1,568,286).
