Albert Trudell Passes

Longtime harness racing industry participant Albert Trudell of Caledon, Ont. passed away at Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, February 17, 2013.

Albert was a driver at one point in his long association with harness racing, and was most recently involved as an owner. Last month Albert claimed Shes A Maniac, a Rocknroll Hanover mare in-to-go on Friday night at Woodbine Racetrack.

Dearly beloved husband of Mary Ann. Dear father of Caroline, Matthew and the late Albert Jr. Loving grandfather of Adam, Charmaine, Nicholas and Emily. Sadly missed by his sister Virginia and her husband John Bell, niece Julia, nephew Joseph and many family and friends.

Visitation will be held this Thursday, Feb. 21 at Newediuk Funeral Home, 2058 Kipling Ave. (north of Rexdale Blvd.) from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Benedict's Church, 2194 Kipling Ave., Friday, February 22, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
