Trot Insider has learned that longtime breeder/owner Odiel Alliet of Thamesville, Ont. passed away Saturday, February 2 at age 94.

Alliet started the 'Airborn Stable,' which campaigned standouts such as Airborn Lucky, Airborn Darcy, Airborn Scotty and Airborn Ferric.

Odiel, who was predeceased by his wife, Jean, lived at the farm until the day he passed.

Visitation and funeral will both be taking place at the McKinlay Funeral Home in Ridgetown, Ont.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, February 5 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, February 6 at 11:00 a.m.
