CMR Maybe Loaded, North America's winningest standardbred of the year, made her 24th trip this season to the winner's circle on Friday evening at Rideau Carleton Raceway.

Kicking off a perfect four-win night for driver Stephane Gendron, CMR Maybe Loaded converted off a pocket trip and got up in the final strides to prevail by a quarter-length over Silverdollar Shark in her $6,500 claiming assignment. The time of the mile was 1:59.4 over the 'good' track, which was rated two seconds slow. She paid $3.60 to win as the 4-5 favourite.

The Ontario-sired Fully Loaded mare, who was claimed four times this year, is owned by Saverino and Graziano Spagnolo of Ottawa, Ont. She now boasts a seasonal record reading 24-7-4 in 48 outings with earnings totalling $73,286. All of her 2012 wins have occurred at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and all but one with Gendron in the bike for trainer Jamie Copley.

CMR Maybe Loaded holds a three-win lead in North America's 2012 equine standings over 12-year-old Pennsylvania-owned trotter Idadazzle (21) and the six-year-old Ohio-based pacer Richie The Clown (20).

Friday's win was the nine-year-old mare's 58th lifetime and pushed her bankroll to $338,954.

CMR Maybe Loaded is one of Copley's trainees that have helped him crack Canada's top 10 leaderboard this year. He currently ranks third in the win column behind local leader Rene Allard and O'Brien Award nominee Richard Moreau, who leads the nation with 334 victories.
