Miss Cloverdale champion Jans Rich Girl converted a perfect pocket trip into her seventh win of the season against Fraser Downs' top pacing mares on Sunday over the sloppy Surrey oval.

With trainer-driver Scott Knight in the sulky, Jans Rich Girl followed Just Fiction (Jim Marino) through fractions of :28, :58.2, and 1:27.2 before gliding by in the passing lane to win by nearly four lengths in 1:56.3. The pacesetter stayed for second while Miss Cloverdale runner-up Legal Suspensory (David Hudon) rallied off cover to show.

Jans Rich Girl paid $4.50 to win as the 6-5 favourite.

The Sunbury Stables' seven-year-old Camluck mare now boasts 32 wins from 100 starts on her lifetime record and earnings totalling $275,982.

For Knight, the victory was one of three driving wins on the 12-race card.
